Free agency kicked- off last night and the biggest winners by far were the Brooklyn Nets. After the long reported signing of Kyrie Irving to a 4 year, $142 million took place, the Nets set the NBA world on fire by signing the injured Kevin Durant to a 4 year, $164 million contract.
Kevin Durant is set to miss all of next season after rupturing his Achilles tendon in this years NBA finals. Nevertheless, Durant is a consensus top player in NBA history and waiting a year to watch him play for your team is more than the price any NBA fan or executive would pay for him to don their teams jersey.
