2019 Tony’s Take Place Over The Weekend

James Corden hosted the Tony Awards for the second consecutive year which took place this past weekend. “Hadestown”, starring Reeve Carney, Amber Gray and André De Shields led the way with 14 nominations and 8 wins, the most noteworthy of which being for the “Best Musical”.

To list a couple of other main category results,  “The Ferryman” won “Best Play” and Bryan Cranston, who of course is famous from “Breaking Bad” and “Malcolm In The Middle” won the Tony for “Best Lead Actor in a Play” for his performance in “Network”.
